YOUR SECOND FAMILY
As a daycare center in District 6, we place great emphasis on reliability and genuine relationships. The right attitude of our staff and keeping staff turnover to a minimum are central to our child care.
Only in this way can children build close and lasting relationships with their caregivers in our daycare day by day.
HEALTHY FOOD
Our cook plans the menu, does the shopping and prepares all meals fresh each day, including baby food in our infant care. In this way, nutrition becomes a thoughtful part of our childcare.
LEARNING WITHOUT PRESSURE TO PERFORM
At our Kita, children learn through play and with genuine joy. As a day and infant care,
we support each child individually and without performance pressure.
Mini meditations, experiments, projects and fine motor activities are part of everyday life
in our childcare. We work with portfolios and regularly hold development meetings with
parents.
Every Friday, children take part in our pre-kindergarten programme, a gentle
preparation for kindergarten.
ALL INCLUSIVE
At our Kita, almost everything is provided. Apart from a water bottle and formula milk, we
take care of meals, fruit, hygiene products, diapers, toothbrushes and sunscreen.
As a trusted day and infant care, we always put the child’s well-being first and use only
high-quality products.
GERMAN-ENGLISH
The main language at Kita Bärlis is German / Swiss German. At Villa Bärlis, our bilingual daycare also in Zurich, children experience German and
English in everyday life.
Children learn foreign languages naturally through play.
PROMOTING
CREATIVITY
Music lessons also take place every week. The older children can enjoy hip hop, ballet or private piano lessons.

DAILY OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES
We go to the gym and to swimming lessons every week.
Once a week is our traditional "World Explorer Day", when we spend the whole day out and about.
HOMELY AND COZY
We have lovingly renovated rooms.
Our garden playground (over 250 square meters at each location) invites children to play and picnic.
Parents have exclusive parking spaces in front of the daycare center for drop-off and pick-up.
The nearest public transportation stop is in the immediate vicinity.
FOREST AND NATURE GROUP
We have our own forest and nature group,
which is active Mondays to Thursdays!
All the older children go to the forest at least
twice a month.
A forest hut serves as our retreat during bad weather.
